Within “Futures Studies” we are trained and disciplined to “scan the horizon” of the future prayerfully through four lenses. I want to share with you what those four lenses are, and how they apply to where we are right now. Some of you may not be used to this approach to understand the times. However, I want to assure you that in approaching “understanding the times” from this perspective you will derive a greater sense of wisdom, clarity, peace, assurance, and hope. My deepest desire as I said at the beginning is that grace and peace in all their fullness will be multiplied in you, to you, and through you for your sake, and the sake of all you relate to, for the glory of God.
